So far three of you wonderful students have completed your Book Recitals. I should have taken pictures of you! You have all done a wonderful job. It is so fun to watch you perform all by yourself for your families and friends!
REMEMBER- If you haven't scheduled your Book Recital yet, you only have until the END OF MARCH to get it done.
The student will perform a Solo Recital of all the songs in the book that they have just completed. If you have never done a Book Recital, you may choose either the most recent book you completed, or the book just before that. I prefer you choose the most recent one.
You may invite anyone you wish to your recital, but you must invite your teacher (me). :)
You must have a piano accompanist to play with you - it makes for a much more polished and professional recital and you will be happier with your performance, trust me. :) If you need suggestions for an accompanist, let me know.
If you are NEW to my studio, and you have transferred from another teacher, I would love to have you complete a Book Recital as well. Talk to me about it at our next lesson.
If your student is a Beginner and has not completed a book yet, you may disregard this post.
